After moving into their home on Edgeview Drive, Bill and Jenn decided they would do a different type of holiday decoration than they'd seen in the neighborhood; One where guests could enjoy a show set to music throughout the holiday season. Finally, in 2012, their first projection show went live! It was a hit, but the show bug had bitten them, and they knew some investments would have to be made to make it bigger and better as often as they could.

 

After a few shows, and a slightly better projector, they decided to give lightshows a try, using a Boobox 8-channel prop controller they had for Halloween. The Christmas on the Edge annual lightshow had been born!

Bill and Jenn decided to go full lightshow for a few years. With four 16-channel Computerized Light Controllers (LOR1602W), three 24-channel DC Controller (CMB24D), two pixel controllers, and an ever growing collection of lights and props in the garage, they spent months programming every blink and flicker to bring the Christmas (and Halloween) on the Edge shows to life.

 

In 2020, due to the stresses of COVID, Christmas on the Edge took a hiatus. During that time, Bill and Jenn did some major thinking about their shows and decided a major change, and upgrade, were in order. Now, armed with a Professional Grade Optoma Projector, they can't wait to bring some amazing shows to their visitors starting in 2021!
